Description

Rosa Afternoons are designed for people with an awareness of or interest in the arts and who want to dig deeper into the issues raised at each session by curators, artists and thinkers in a friendly environment where each project can be discussed. The activity will be a combination of practice and reflection during the space of 3 hours.

It is an open programme that will take place at CA LA ROSA Art Centre, Verges, and that forms part of the programme of the Graphic Editing and Context Stage I; therefore, people who attend the Rosa Afternoons will share the activity with the artists who are resident and in the process of creating their works.

Structure

Previous conferences

Photographing nature, with Salvi Danés.
Knowledgeable about the territory of the Baix Empordà and its ecosystem, especially its oviparous inhabitants, he will be sharing with us how he conducts this thought-provoking combination between observation, photography, and artistic expression, since his art is activated by the close relationship between art and biology.

Graphic creation processes according to Isidro Ferrer.
Being an illustrator (and more) means seeking different ways to activate creativity. What can perhaps help us most is to work based on processes that are not always developed in the same way. Isidro Ferrer will bring us closer to his ways of working and we will test some of them in a practical way.
