CA LA ROSA ART CENTER
CA LA ROSA is located in a late 19th century Inn, in Verges (Baix Empordà, Girona), restored to house a center for artistic creation and experimentation.
A space for practice in the field of graphic edition and printing processes, as well as the installation of digital technologies.
The center offers resources to develop residency projects, monographic workshops, exhibitions, conferences and much more.
THE OLD INN OF VERGES
The original structure of the hostel has been preserved while transforming the function of the different spaces.
The building is being rehabilitated with austere and sustainable construction strategies. In the auxiliary spaces of the stables, the printmaking workshop has been installed.
In the main building will be located the residence studios, the common utilities, the digital laboratory, the library and the exhibition space.
CULTURE AND CREATION MORE ALIVE THAN EVER
In CA LA ROSA we assist you in making your artistic project.
We have a Printmaking Workshop in full operation where the editions of Apart Edicions and other projects are carried out. In this same workshop you can develop your printing project guided by experts who will adapt to your needs.
The Digital Laboratory is a space to investigate the relationship between ephemeral arts and performance, incorporating the resources of digital technologies.
Residents of CA LA ROSA can move in either to develop their own project or to attend one of the specialized courses.
ART AS A SOCIAL AND CULTURAL GOOD
CA LA ROSA will also develop programs of initiation to the artistic practice for schools and educational centers of the regiom. With the vocation of adding and spreading the arts.
Agreements will be made with institutions to organize and arrange joint activities and unite efforts and resources.

CA LA ROSA is a project that pursues a cultural benefit and the recognition of artists so that they can develop their craft. To start it all up we need enthusiasm, dedication and also funding.
To begin the necessary funding of this non-profit project we will carry out a crowdfunding or sponsorship project.
The main reward for the participants/sponsors will be the CA LA ROSA 2022 collection; T-shirts designed by creators who will collaborate in the project.
